We're proud to announce that we are now offering two weekly stretching sessions at Northyards Cider Co. Our in house yoga instructors, Jasmine and Brittany, will be leading one-hour sessions featuring a wide range of yoga-inspired postures suitable for all levels. Stick around after class for a social hour with a complimentary cider or Spark komboucha!
My personal practice is steeped in the traditions of Ashtanga and that is where I draw my insights and inspirations from. I’ve traveled to Europe, completed a teacher training, committed myself to a multi-year apprenticeship and made two pilgrimages to India - all in the name of yoga. I’m passionate about experiential learning, knowledge sharing and community building. It is my aspiration to incorporate these values into my teachings.
When I’m not on my mat it may be hard to find me as I’m enthusiastic about many things! I am a rock climbing, ski patrolling, nature-revering, animal loving explorer who enjoys potlucks, novels and quality time spent with loved ones.
I love to move, I always have. This passion for movement is what motivated me to pursue a career in kinesiology, and led me to Squamish where I could live a life of playing in the mountains. After an injury of my own, my desire to keep moving encouraged me to dive head first into the practice of Forrest yoga, which I absolutely fell in love with. It wasn't long until I was completing my teacher training in beautiful Bali.
Through using yoga and breath work to bridge the gap between body and mind, I learned to harness my inner positivity and mental flexibility while projecting it outwards into my everyday life. By providing you with sweaty, heartfelt, never too serious classes, my goal is to help you break free of whatever it is that limits your beliefs about what you can accomplish, both on and off the mat.
