We are excited to announce that this summer we will be offering cider tours at Northyards Cider Co.! Northyards Cider is located on a historic 29-acre orchard farm with 6,500 apple trees and 32 different apple varietals!

During this unique tour, you will learn about the historic property, tour the beautiful 115-year-old orchard, get an understanding of how we produce the cider (including learning how we make the different flavours), and you’ll get to try our ciders! The tour will be given by Gavin, our very own Orchard Manager. You will tour around the orchard, learning about the different apple trees and just how much each apple varietal can affect the final product. Then you’ll get to experience the cider production. You’ll learn about how we press the apples, process the juice, and can the finished cider.

After all that walking around, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the cider for yourself! Each tour includes a cider-tasting flight of four, 5oz ciders of your choice. View our available ciders here. Gavin is very busy, so he will only be able to give one tour a day, from Monday to Friday, so make sure to reserve your tour early! This tour will take around one hour and the tour and tasting flight will be $25 per person. You will also receive an additional 15% off your purchases from that day.
